Steganos Locknote is a text editor, similar to the windows notepad that offers interesting characteristics: is able to encrypt and save your documents with password. Take advantage of this security option to keep your serial #´s, passwords, private notes and others. All saves thanks of its encryption AES 256 bits technology.
This free utility doesn’t require installation, it’s an open source based utility. You only require to make a double click on a lock note and entering the password that you set to access your text files. Also if you want to encrypt existing text files you can drag and drop them on a Locknote windows and the software will encrypt the file automatically. With these great options you are able to move the files and the software in any part that you want to, helping you to save hard drive space.
